Process Chemical Engineering

Conceptual engineering involves many disciplines, including process engineers. They are involved in all stages of a project (from Design to Commissioning) whether it be:
The Construction of a New Unit
An Expansion Project to increase Capacity
The Modernization of an existing Facility
EPPOS consolidated engineers are fully integrated within project teams and work closely with other disciplines. Their expertise enables them to:
Design of block diagrams, PFD [Process Flow Diagrams] and P&ID [Piping & Instrumentation Diagram]
Provide the best technological solution to meet the needs of the project
Consider safety at all stages of the study: deviation reviews from diagrams, like HAZOP, definition of safety instances
Intervene during the commissioning & start-up of facilities Balance sheets of materials and utilities, heat and waste assessments.
Modeling of all or part of the process, if necessary
Definition and equipment sizing: preparation of equipment specification sheets, tendering process
Draw the lists needed for design: fluids, lines, equipment
Conduct or lead various reviews: Design, Deviations, HAZOP
Assist during the Pre-Commissioning stage of any Plant and staff training
Our process engineers come from diverse backgrounds This gives EPPOS flexibility to operate in different sectors, while still pursuing operational excellence by achieving objectives in compliance with client and project requirements.
